You think they switched out the stone with a better stone??  I highly doubt they did that!

However, there ARE stories, and there was one on here, about sending a ring in and having the stone replaced.  So, be careful!

I’m gonna bet it’s your eyes, because unless it is resized, they shouldn’t touch the stones.

It’s your eyes, they don’t even usually clean them by hand, just a quick dip into a machine.

My center stone always looks bigger after a proffessional cleaning, I think the light refracts better.

If you are concerned they switched it, take it to another jeweler to verify it is a real diamond and check for inclusions that are unique to your diamond.

I clean my ring often because it really does look SO much bigger when it’s clean!

I think the light refraction when it is cleaned makes it look bigger…happens to me all the time

It just looks bigger because it is clean and the light is reflecting better. I clean my ring once a week but it’s never as good as when they do it! I LOVE IT! It always looks HUGE after it is professionally cleaned!
