that sounds like plenty to me. If you’ve ever watched Four Weddings, one of the issues that seems to keep coming up is that the brides over indulge on the food during the cocktail reception, then are to full to enjoy the actual meal. I would not worry about not having enough. I am assuming your caterers are professionals and they know how much you will need for your event, by past experience.

By The Way, Welcome to the Bee! Don’t be afraid to ask anything, or give your oppinion or share your thoughts. This is the place to do it!

@sandy16: I went to a wedding and they had crackers, cheese, quesadillas, grapes and that was it besides the drinks and what you are writing sounds like you have enough I wish I could attend your wedding.  Remember cocktail hour servers as appetizers not meant to fill anyone up unless like me helped themselves to 3 servings of each when no one else wanted seconds.

You definitely have more than I do, I think you’ll be fine!  We’re doing a veggie display, 2 passed hors d’oeuvres, a cookie table, salad, entree with sides and a cupcake tower.  Oh, and of course…a 5 hour open bar.  🙂
