Bought my wedding ring from them and it’s my dream ring! Then I went and had it appraised just for peace of mind and was told it was worth about 4 times what I paid for it!!

I’m glad to see a thread that isn’t slamming pompeii3 rings to death. I realize some people have not been happy with their purchases from them, but I have 2 rings from pompeii3 and I really love both of them. There was a thread about a week ago where some bees were calling all rings from them junk that belongs in the trash. In my opinion that’s like saying that all rings from zales or kay are trash or ugly. I’d probably be told a thing or two by bees whose rings came from those places, and is deserve it! Of course, I don’t really think that just to be clear, only using that as an example. I personally found it insulting and a bit hurtful. it’s a matter of undestanding what you’re buying. No my diamonds aren’t perfect stones, but they are pretty and they do have tons of sparkle. That’s good enough for me 🙂
Pics of my pompeii3 rings:
1ctw 1/2 carat center stone. 800.00.
1.75ctw three stone diamond ring 14k white gold. 1300.00.
Both appraised for way above what was paid for them:) yay!
I know this thread is old, but I love my Pomepii ring. The first e-ring I got from there I had many issues with, but i contacted the owner and he was very helpful and let us exchange it for this beauty. I get compliments all the time and it always sparkles.

The lower picture has the same stats for the diamonds. In my opinion, and the jewelers who inspected and appraised them, the color is more of a J, which is still considered nearly colorless, and it doesn’t appear yellow at all to my eye. And most people are surprised to hear the clarity of the cushion halo is an i2.
Just be aware that you are buying uncertified diamonds, so the stats are more or less just the opinions of the makers of the ring and the appraisers. Fwiw, if certification of the stone is important to you, Pompeii 3 also sells diamonds that are certified, although they’re not nearly as competitively priced as their other rings.
Good luck with your ring search bee!
Yes they are legit and good quality as far as I could tell. We got DH wedding band from them. He just wanted a pain rose gold band, and it was received very fast, packed nicely in a pretty box. DH’s band is the one on the bottom:
I honestly think anyone who buys from a brand name jewler like Zales or kay is never getting a good deal there prices are always marked up to high, I personally prefer to get a ring online from etsy or tradesy or ebay but never buy from the name brand chains on ebay but from regular people just trying to get rid of their jewlery and always try to narrow down my lists when I look on ebay like clarity and cut and color especially if your looking for a used diamond always make sure to do your research and ask to see appraisals or certifications and if they have a return policy plus they are also willing to negotiate with you!
Pompeii 3 is a rip off!!! Jewelry is very poor quality!!! I would NOT recommend this website to anyone!!! DO NOT BUY FROM POMPEII!!!!!!!!
I know this is an old thread but Id also like to mention that not only are alot of their diamonds i2s and below, but alot are clarity enhanced i2s. I diamonds and CE diamonds on their own are one thing but together, just doesn’t suggest it’s a good sale. Just my opinion though folks.
What about plain wedding bands? Any taughts on that?
I recommend them for plain bands. I can’t comment on their quality as far as diamond rings go but for the price the plain bands are great!!
