(Closed) Are shoes supposed to be seen with dress on?

My dress was long enough that my shoes did not show when I walked.  I think some choose to have it a little shorter, but it’s personal preference.

I don’t plan to have my shoes show when I walk and I’m doing Aline but it is definitely personal preference.

I think it depends on the design of the dress at the front bottom. If it just goes straight down with no up-cut then I would have the dress cover the shoes. I have seen pics of dresses that are levelled at the bottom but shows the shoes completely. To me it looks as though the dress is too short.

 

But if you are worried about the dress getting dirty on the floor, perhaps have it just a tad bit off the ground.
