I really love stacks that have a variety of textures and colors. A few different plain stacking bands, maybe a diamond band or two. I like white+rose gold or rose+yellow gold best when it comes to mixing metals. For me, the key to a beautiful diamond-heavy stack is different style diamond bands.. like a pave band, plus a bubble-breath band, a couple plain metal bands, and maybe a shared prong band….

As for how ladies create stacks, I think usually people buy rings that they know will look good with their e-ring, specifically for the purpose of stacking. I would think it’s difficult to randomly throw a bunch of rings you already own on your finger and end up with a cohesive stack (unless you have very simple rings).

Some people just have an eye for fashion/accessories and can create some unique and beautiful stacks!

This is mine, it’s by no means the best or most beautiful stack. (The twist band is a little too loose so it looks kind of funny…) but I would like to get a couple more smooth bands and another textured band, and eventually a diamond band to set it off 😁
