Are there any bees who are trying to go from obese/overweight to healthy?

I have about 75 lbs to lose. Could definitely lose more, but that’s my current target to be in a good healthy range again. I just want to be healthy and feel good about myself again. I also want to make sure that I’m ready to TTC in the next couple of years without an issue.

I’m also trying to lose minimum of 50-70lbs. I would love inspo and accountability from others since I’m terrible at it!

DaniGirl03 :  I’m all for a support system ♥️ I struggle with having support IRL. My Fiance is great and has always made sure that I feel beautiful but I want to be healthy by the time we TTC a few years from now. I need to lose about 70lbs to be at a healthy weight for my height but would love to lose a little more than that.

OO OO ME! i’ve signed up for an 8 week “transformation” camp (FAT BUGGER CAMP) so yes

 

*edit* i want to lose 10kg, no idea what that is in Lb’s (i want to lose more but 10kg is the goal just now)

DaniGirl03 :  I agree that you have to take it one step at a time. My SO and I work long hours and it’s so much easier to pick up a greasy cheeseburger than meal prep and cook chicken and vegetables for an hour. Our gym is about 30 minutes away since we’re on a budget and can’t afford a nicer gym membership, but we’ve been trying to motivate ourselves to do small workouts at home or at our apt fitness center. However, whenever I suggest terrible food, my SO is all for it and gives us no accountability haha so I would love a support from other bees!

i started losing weight before my wedding, and am still chugging away lol. I intially wanted to lose 50 lbs, with a final goal of 60-70 lbs down. I lost the first 25 relatively easy and have kept it off, but got lazy and am only just getting back on track now. 

I absolutely HATE excersize, and don’t find it does much for my weight loss, but I definitely tone up and my waist shrinks when I do. So I’m considering trying to get back into that too. I mostly just use diet to control everything. My body does amazing on keto/low carb diet, and I like it because I dont have to count calories or worry too much about being deprived. 

I’ve started to set small milestones for myself, such as, stick to the diet for 2 weeks and have a moderate cheat weekend (ie this weekend is company xmas party!). Then it will be another 2 weeks until H’s birthday. Then another 1.5 weeks until xmas. Even at these events, I think I’m still going to try to mostly stay on track, but I won’t beat myself up if I have a bite of dessert, etc.
