Ambi D :  hi there! My family owns a store that sells Berta but our general prices start at $900. Is there a certain style that you love or just the look in general? We literally spend months sourcing dresses with this look for less, because let’s face it… Everyone loves a $10,000 dress, but very few people are actually able (or willing!) to spend that much. We try to be exclusive without excluding.

What price point would you like to stay at?

Ambi D :  I tried on Galia and Inbal before. The reason’ they’re expensive is the lace/embroidery quality that you can’t really get with premade fabrics because certain designs are sewn by hand. You’re going to have to be making comprimises, with regarding fabrics that aren’t hand enbroidered or other things.

Galia has a more affordable range. Did you check those out yet?

Mikaella bridal, especially styles 2016,2116, and 2100.  Kitty Chen Ivoire Mariella, GALA by Galia Lahov is a line of ready to wear bridal and you can find the retailers on the Galia Lahov homepage.  You might also like Yaki Ravid or the GRACELOVESLACE Inca.

Calla Blanche has some pretty dress that remind me of Berta and Lauren Elaine is similar to Galia Lahav for some of the mermaids with the dramatic trains.

Ambi D :  Are the styles you like the mermaids/sheaths with the low back and delicate lace? (That’s what I normally think of with those designers…)

Rosa Clara has some beautiful slinky dresses. But her style is less revealing.

Check out Eddy K – I think they range from about $1500 to $5k depending on the range.

Ambi D :  I bought my gown from a girl who sold new and preowned gowns out of her house. She had these designers and they ranged from $600-7000 depending upon what you want. If you have a style in mind I’m sure she’d help you out. Let me know if you want info.
