I am a two dress Mori Lee bride 🙂 The quality is fantastic, the price is even better. The only thing weird is the sizing (but I think that is true of most bridal designers).

I am a Mori Lee 2504! The dress that came in was a 12 but fitting me like a 14 so I’m losing weight to fit into it 🙁

I’m a Mori Lee blu bride, their quality is excellent, I’m not sure why the ruffle ripped off, but you have to remember that the samples arent in as good shape as the actual dress. I love my mori lee so much and love the price.

Hi- I just purchased this gown today and it is fabulous!!!! It does fit snug in the hips and waist area for some reason – however it can be let out. I am a size 10 and I had to order a 12. Now I don’t know why I went up a size but I would not have been able to fit in a 10. The Mori Lee does run smaller but I can attest to the fact that I tried on every mermaid gown you could dream of – and I had to try on the 1619 to put my mind at ease. It was the best decision I made because no one has the gown yet. If you’re going for beautiful, elegant and sexy – than I would highly recommend this dress. It accentuates your curves, gives you a nice butt and makes your waist look smaller.

Hmm..I’m a Mori Lee bride and I love love LOVE my dress. It probably ripped because, well, you were trying to fit into a dress that wasn’t your size. I don’t think that means the dresses are poor quality. Keep in mind these samples have been tried on by probably hundreds different brides-to-be. I tried on samples that were ripped as well..it didn’t sway my desicion making. The dress you purchase will be YOUR dress- brand new.

I ordered my dress a little bigger to allow room for alterations. The sample was a size 8 (too big). I was measured at the store and it was decided to get a size 4- so I don’t know where the comment about having to order a dress 3 sizes bigger than your “regular” size came from.

My opinion is you can’t go wrong with a Mori Lee. If you have $3000 to spend on a dress, thats awesome, but I’m a happy girl with my $1200 (that includes alteration costs) dress.

I agree that it probably ripped from being a sample. My actual dress amazed me when it came in. The quality is awesome. In fact it looks a lot different than the sample  I posted above.

@beebee89: If its a full a-line or ballgown, you’ll need a full slip– maybe more than 1
