I hate when people add stupid accents to their names! I went to college with this girl Andrea, except it wasn’t And-re-uh, it was Awn-dre-uh. Like, c’mon. No. That’s not unique, it’s stupid.
And someone else said it, but I’ll say it again. I HATE when people spell super popular names differently and think they’re being different. If you want to name your kid Madison, name her Madison. Adding a y and an extra d doesn’t make it cool, it just confuses your poor kid.

i don’t really have a reason, but i hate the name misty. i’ve only known one girl named misty and she was kind of a bitch, but even before met her, i hated the name.
i used to really like the name carlos, but a stupid guy ruined that one for me :/
and i also hate any name that has “-aden” in it. everywhere i go there’s a kid named aiden or hayden or caden or brayden….i’m so tired of hearing those names.

Not really. My most despised person is FI’s ex gf who treated him terribly and stomped on his heart, but they are both named Alex, so I can’t hate the name.
I don’t like seeing Neveah though. It’s not heaven backwards, it’s haeven backwards, and that’s not a word. Nevaeh spelled correctly isn’t my personal favorite but I don’t hate it.

@Daizy914: I had a best friend growing up who did me dirty at the start of high school. Miserable, horrible end to a friendship. I hated hearing her name for a while… until I met someone else with her name, who is an absolutely wonderful person. Now I have no bad feelings about the name, because I only think of my newer friend who’s awesome. 🙂
Hopefully your niece will change the name for you!

Popular names that I think sound like pet names; Milo, Oliver, Bella, Jack, Layla, etc.
I actually do like the names, but take Jack, for instance. When I hear a parent call for their kid Jack at the market or wherever I always picture a dog like a Black Lab or a Dalmatian…
