I was looking at these:
I love lush. My Fiance loves lush. Figured it was a good idea, until I ran it by ma-dukes. She said “old people don’t take baths…”
But like, diabetics can’t eat/shouldn’t candy treats. With wine stoppers, not everyone drinks wine. I received a cookie cutter as a favor and have never used it…
Do the favors need to be something everyone at the wedding will like/use? What if I don’t know what a lot of my extended relatives are into? What are the rules about choosing favors?

I love those!! I didn’t even think about that. I mean, people give out favors that guests won’t use again, which is why I went with food, but the bath thing – I am pretty certain that my Nana (who is old) would use it. Hahahahaha.
Look, you’re not going to please everybody. I have caramel and chocolate covered apples. I’m certain that there will be people there who won’t like that, or my insane chocolate/raspberry wedding cake. BUT I think MOST people will, which is why I went with it.
I got a mini-grater one time, and I was certain I would use it. I didn’t, but it still reminds me of the wedding and people who come over to my apartment think it’s cute too. Just go with what you like. Technically, there aren’t rules for this stuff – it’s up to your tastes and preferences in light of those coming.

No, they don’t need to be something everyone at the wedding will use. And, if someone was giving away items from Lush, I would be in heaven. That store is amazing. I’ve received things that I won’t really use, but they were representative of the couple, so it worked for them.

there’s no way you can please everyone. usually the favor’s are chocolate, i can’t eat chocolate, so i just give it to someone else. if someone doesn’t take baths, they can just give it to someone at the table that does.

Yeah, it’s impossible to pick one favor that works for every single guest at your wedding. I think your idea is great.

I would think old people would bath more than young people……
Oh well – Just as the others said – you can’t please everyone. If you think that the majority of your guests will like them Go for it!

I say AWESOME and can I come to your wedding to get my bath bomb, too?
Go for it! The worst that could happen is they won’t take them home (whcich happens with ALL favors), and you can keep the extra.

HAHA, Gilneas! I hadn’t thought of that!

I love lush bath bombs. Just keep in mind that they’re REALLY fragrant, so I wouldn’t have them at the individual placesettings, since you don’t want the scent to overpower/interfere with the food.

I heart Lush and would be pumped about this as a favor. If people decide not to take them, then you just get extra for you! 🙂

You’ll never find something that’s going to please everyone – just go for it!! I think it’s a great idea!!
