They aren’t terrible they’re just not great. I would try a sash on one just to see. You can get those cheaper than the covers. Just an idea. They are way better than what our venue provided.

I can’t lie, they look a lot better covered.  If you have room in the budget, I’d do it.  If not, it’s definitely not the end of the world, they’re still presentable 🙂

What is the lighting going to be like? The chairs are not terrible, I woudln’t skoff at a wedding that had them uncovered, especially if it is going to be dim dancing lighting a majority of the time. But the sashes do dress them up nicely.

I like the chairs covered better. But honestly it depends on your budget. I’m one of those people that wouldn’t care that the chairs weren’t covered at a wedding I was at.

P.S- They’re not ugly and I’d totally save the money if it was my wedding. If I had a gigantic budget… that is when I’d splurge

They look very sleek and modern, which could be cool if your decor leans in that direciton. If your decor is more rustic or traditional, then maybe I’d spring for covers. But I don’t think they’re ugly.

I can’t recall what the chairs look like at any wedding I’ve gone to. Okay, well maybe from the weddings we attended while engaged (because I was specifically paying attention to those things) So I think it’s fine!

i dont think they are bad and i actually dont like the tradtional chair covers.   they look kinda modern but if you hate them that much, what about buying fabric and making a sash to tie around them for a pop of color, should be much cheaper than $600 if you have a sewing machine

Well, coming from the one who had un-covered metal folding chairs at her wedding… they look fine. No one is going to notice the chairs and covers make chairs slick and hard to sit in.

@JM1217:  In that case, I think the chairs would probably look fine as is!
