Hello Bees!! I am getting married October 25, 2013. I know i still have some time on my hands but i really want to decide on my wedding colors now. I know that i am having a fall october wedding but i really don’t like the popular color trends for that season such as orange, maroon, brown or any colors like that. I do have some colors in mind that i would like to have but i am not sure if they are appropriate for the season. I live in Texas so it does not get cold here until late Decemeber early January. Here are some of my color choices. Thank you for your help!

I was just married this past October 27th and my colors fell in the red/purple spectrum (no orange or brown in sight)! My bouquet was lavender roses…I didn’t want to come across too “fall” either. My colors can be seen here (I think it looked great)! Don’t be afraid to think outside the box 🙂

I’m in Texas too! I think all the combinations you shared would work (especially in Texas weather!) but the deep purple and gold is my favorite!! I think it fits the season without being “in your face autumn”

I think any of them would look great, but I particularly love the second set of color combos (purple and gold) the best! I am partial because my colors were plum/ harvest gold.

@jensil21: I say you can have whatever colors you’d like! I live in Alabama, and also hope for an October/November wedding, and my wedding colors will probably be bright blues and purples, because those are mine and my SO’s favorite colors.

Yes yes yes! I love them! Especially #1 & 2. It’s refreshing to see a fall wedding that isn’t rustic browns and reds. Ughh.

I just had my wedding on October 13th, last month. My colors were marine (navy) and lapis (purple).. they worked out perfectly even though the season was fall.
Your colors would work great, too, imo.
I also live in Texas.. and I had an outdoor wedding.
