I’m confused….will their dresses be white too?  That dress looks pretty bridal to me.  It’s pretty though!

ETA: just saw your ETA!  Yes!  I think that will be pretty!

@208bride:  I like them and the big straps will allow any busty bridesmaids to wear a supportive bra! What a wonderful pick 🙂

@208bride:  That tight stripe at the waist is flattering for almost every body type. It slims you by making the smallest part of your body (your waist) the tightest part of the dress.

Those should be flattering on everyone! Maybe a little less so on the apple, but apples are HARD to dress!

@208bride:  It’s a beautiful dress, but I don’t think it will work for your bridesmaids.  Because of the back, you have to find a special bra to wear with the gown. The dress won’t flow as well on your short and apple shaped bridesmaid.

How big is the bridesmaid that is the top heavy hourglass? If she’s slim, she could really pull that off, but I’m not sure if she’s heavier.

@208bride:  Maybe she could try a simple ribbon belt to cinch her in more and give an illusion of a thinner waist?

I agree with a PP, finding a good dress for someone who’s apple shaped is a challenge. I think your BMs will look beautiful, I love this dress. In fact, I think it’s just about the most universally flattering dress there is!

My friend was in a wedding recently where the bridesmaids wore almost that exact same style, but tea length. From the pictures that I saw, it was very flattering on everyone, including my friend, who is heavier and apple shaped.
