IMO it looks pretty different. The bottom is fuller, the fabric is less shiny, the ruffles are pleated, there is no flower on the bodice, and its strapless. No one is going to remember/worry about what your friend wore on your wedding day anyways.

That being said, I prefer the one you like.

That style is pretty “in” right now, so I wouldn’t worry: plus your friend has given you the OK.

I really don’t think they look that similar at all. The necklines and skirts are very different, and the second has a flower and ruffle while the first does not. All dresses have similar elements, but are unique in their own way.

ETA: Then again, maybe I’ve just seen too many dresses, haha.

No, the neckline is different and the ruffles are completely different. The colour is slightly different to.

Wear whatever dress you like – your friend had her dream dress, why can’t you?
