    Personally, I’m not a fan, but I also generally dislike fake flowers of any variety.

    @NurseMandie:

    This is such a subjective issue. I’m a big fan of paper flowers and other kinds of obviously fake flowers. Silk flowers, otoh, just look cheesy to me because (again, just to me) they’re trying to look like something they’re not.

    I think these flowers are quite cute (especially if they match the burlap table runners!). For centerpieces, I might spruce them up with a few sprigs of real flowers — bright yellow roses sunflowers, say!

    I totally love those!  I think mixing them with some colorful real flowers would make it work.

    I’m a fan of fake flowers but I’m not crazy about these.

    I don’t usually like fake flowers- but I think these are very cute and would fit your theme perfectly.

    Not a big fan but if they were in color, I’d like them more. They are just drab right now.

    At first I thought, no way, but they actually work with your theme perfectly. I do think you need some real sunflowers with them to kind of break up all the brown burlap. Burlap table runners + burlap sunflowers = burlap overkill!!

    @NurseMandie: OHMIGOD I love them!! They’re beautiful and can be used again. They also add great texture. You will have to do a lot of brainstorming to tie them in with your theme colors but it can definitely be done.

    @NurseMandie:  This! They are fake, but trying to look fake. So they look good!

    I say go for it! I think it will look great with your theme!

    Out of the three flowers there, are you showing the two different shades of colors? I think it could look good to mix the two together, if that’s the case.

    I ended up switching to origami flowers because I couldn’t make myself love silk flowers.  I can’t wrap my brain around the trying to look real and not quite managing it look.  So I like the idea of the burlap flowers since they’re not trying to be real, they’re an accent piece that’s flower inspired.  Personally, I don’t like restricting things to only 2-3 colors, it just gets too theme-y too quickly for my taste.  I’d like the idea of varying neutrals (tan, gray, ivory) with pops of color.  So for example, one burlap sunflower in with smaller real flowers in reds, oranges and yellows.
