I would go with just the smaller ones and not use the larger ones on the ends. The larger ones on the ends throw it off for me. The smaller ones are pretty though, I really like those.

I voted yes but I was looking at the large ones on the end…. I think thso smaller ones in the middle are fine!

Also, you could always get some cute little bus vases and buy a couple bouquets of flowers to put a couple single flowers dispersed throughout. We did this with Gerbers daisies and I found really cute inexpensive vases. You would still get a floral feel without the big floral centerpieces.  You can see one of my little bud vases in the picture. They originally weren’t supposed to go on the tables at all but the coordinator put them there and the worked out LOL

Here’s an example with a lantern.

The smaller lanterns look fine to me. You can use fewer of them if you don’t want them to be overwhelming.

The smaller ones look fine to me. I would space them out a bit more. One per every two people seems like a bit much.

I read your post incorrectly and thought you were looking at the paper lanterns on the ceiling! Oops… sorry.

The ones in the middle are perfect in size. I’m also doing lanterns on the tables and they are the same size of the middle ones. The big ones like at the end of each table we are using for our entrace 🙂 Good luck and def. not big 🙂

@AlwaysSunny:  +1 I was thinking the same thing.

OP remove the bigger ones on the end and space out the smaller ones!

If you put your elbow on the table, the centerpiece should be no higher than the top of your fingers – usually 12-14″. Your guests can see over that height and easily converse across the table.

The lanterns look fine to me.
