I think maybe it’s cultural/regional. I wouldn’t wear one, but I see lots of them on the Bee.

i think tiaras do look a bit dated now, right now i love a floral crown but i just know in 10 years or probably less they will be just as dated :S i think if someone loves tiaras they should wear one because whatever they wear it’ll look dated in a few years anyway!

I really think they’re outdated.  I wouldn’t touch one.

I wouldn’t wear one but I don’t really care what others do.

I don’t know if they are dated, but I never found them suitable for weddings. I think it probably derives from that whole princess for a day thing. I prefer not to wear them however if another bride likes it and it’s style I don’t see anything wrong with that.

I personally don’t like them, and I do agree that they can look dated.

Haha, I just posted about wearing a tiara this morning!

I don’t know about them being dated – I really don’t follow things like that at all, but I don’t particularly like tiaras. Unfortunately, my Future Mother-In-Law has given me the one she wore to her wedding and it would mean so much to her if I wore it, so I guess there’s no getting out of it for me Frown

I think they’re 99.9% of the time outdated looking.

they’re not my favorite. I think they looked dated even when they were “in”

I wouldn’t wear them because frankly I’m not a princess- and in my mind only princesses’ should wear tiaras.

I don’t think of them as outdated just most def not my style at all.  I’ve always felt like only 5 year olds and royalty should wear them.

I saw one on facebook from a wedding this weekend. It made me cringe. BUT, everyone has some fashion thing that is probably not embraced by the mainstream so I feel like if you want a tiara, go for it. Who am I to say what another should wear to make them feel beautiful.

i think they do look a bit dated but so will everything when you look back on your photos so i guess it doesn’t matter anyway!

I think the really intense tiaras are.  I wouldn’t be as opposed to a smaller headpiece, though.
