I don’t really see the point of changing into a similar dress on the same day, so I would think its a little over the top.  Can you wear the second one to your rehearsal dinner?

mm if they aren’t crazy expensive then I don’t see anything wrong with it. Do what makes you happy! I can see your dilemma though because i LOVE both dresses. The first is super boho and the second is kind of 1920s looking imo. Both of which I adore. They’re both so different.

lcowher:  Plenty of brides have two full length wedding gowns nowadays, so do what makes you happy! They are both lovely dresses!

Although many change for the reason you mention, i think the second one is more dressier and fitting for your ceremony with the plain one more suited for a reception. I was surprised seeing them in that order you have.

I say if you wanna wear both just go for it. I certainly wouldn’t judge someone for wearing both dresses lol it’s your wedding, do whatever makes you happy!

lcowher:  I think both dresses are beautiful! Especially for the vibe you’re going for.  I say go for both since it’ll be in August (on my birthday!), and I’m sure the shorter sleeves on the reception dress will be more comfortable to wear for dancing.

lcowher:  If you can afford it and it makes you happy, go for it. We are sometimes so concerned about what others will think, we forget about what will make us really happy. Its a once in a lifetime affair so you can be as extravagant as you want 🙂 … Love both dresses!!!

I’m having the same dilemma and I say go with it! It’s your day and no one is going to judge you for having two beautiful dresses!

Those dresses are BOTH totally freaking FABULOUS. And you should definitely get both. For sure.  The first is romantic and whimsical and the second is so bold and classy.  Plus it gives your guests two beautiful dresses to fawn over. LOVE IT. DO IT.
