I love two toned watches. I wear this one daily, it’s by Movado.

I like two toned ones! The only watches that seem outdated to me are solid yellow gold ones. Lilke the ones people used to get when they retired from a company lol.

michellelynn9175 :  First watch or last watch. They both are universal and could be worn with variuous types of wardrobes. I prefer the first as it’s more my style and reminds me of my tissot. It would go witha chic style, casuall, professional, and classy.

Personally, two toned watches are nice, and seem to have been around for quite some time, I just don’t like them as much as they make the piece seem bulky.

Not tacky but I find the two tone outdated. I like the leather band watch the best

Not at all! I have a chunky two tone Nixon that I absolutely love. Bonus is that it goes with any kind of jewelry!

I have a two-tone watch and I never knew anyone thought they were tacky?? My dad’s Rolex is two-tone as well and he hates all things tacky haha. Even my engagement ring is two-tone actually. I don’t think my watch is outdated as it’s quite dainty. I live in the tropics and I used to have a leather band, it got really funky…

michellelynn9175 :  I used to wear a Citizen Eco-Drive with a rectangular gold-tone face and brown leather strap and I loved it. I’ve been wearing a stainless steel round face Citizen Eco-Drive for a couple years but I just pulled the trigger on a gold-tone round face Anne Klein with a brown leather strap. IMO they’re so classic and professional, and they have that boyish sexiness to them that gives a nice touch to a feminine outfit or figure. LOVE gold faced watches. And you really can’t beat the feeling of leather that’s been broken in to your specific wrist, they’re so comfortable.

I love mixed metals and I think two tone watches can be gorgeous. I say go for whatever you love.

Two tone is definitely not tacky!

My only advice though is to stay away from fashion brands that make watches (i.e. Coach, Kate Spade, etc.) They use really cheap interior parts. I used to work for a watchmaker, a lot of these watches are basically plastic inside and not worth the money. Brands like Seiko, Citizen, Timex, Movado, Tissot, and many more, make lovely, better quality watches in a similar price range, or can often be found on sale! Best of luck in your hunt!
