So Fiance went back to school. Great career choice, but it is costing us a fortune.
We are getting married next September (2013) and between now and then he has to finish his very rigourous schooling (4 days of class, 2 days training and 1 day doing hospital rounds). He is literally living out of his car. And I am planning the wedding. We set time aside, I provide him with options and we pick. We do this once every couple of weeks to make wedding decisons.
Anyways, So he is crazy busy in school, graduates in April 2013 (hopefully with a conitional job offer), certification exam July 2013 and 9 weeks later we tie the knot.
Are we crazy for getting married RIGHT after he finishes school and may or may not have a job, may have a long distance job that requires us to move (up to 4 hours so venue and decisions can still be where we are now) or may be working off jobs until he finds full time work in his new field?

I think the important thing is that his school work/first job doesn’t take a backseat. Since it is expensive and probably hs best shot at a great career. It sounds like you are doing a good job of including him but also not taking up so much of his time. This is probably a bigger burden on you, but as long as you can handle it, I think you’ll be fine. Hopefully you will get to go on a honeymoon or mini moon which will be a nice break between wedding/school/exams and career.

Wow, how are you doing it? I would be a stressball if I was doing that! Sounds like you have a great gameplan though and you are handling it well. I would say make sure you take time to enjoy each other during all of the madness and not get upset if he can’t help you with the decisions. Good luck!

You might be a little crazy, but you’ll make it work! 🙂 I will be graduating 3 weeks before our wedding so I have a little taste of how you feel. The key is to manage your time together well. Don’t focus too much on the wedding – it’s the marriage that really matters! And trust that whatever happens as far as jobs is concerned, happens for a reason. 🙂

You aren’t crazy but you’re going to be busy! You seem to have a great attitude, keep it up. Sounds like you’ll roll with it however it goes.
