Thanks guy 🙂 I’ve never paid much attention in the past at weddings what was served. I think I’ve been watching too much wedding reality tv. O.o

Now that’s one fantastic menu. I can’t imagine anyone being unhappy with it:)

That is a lot of food! Definitely way more than I, or Fiance, could get through in one evening. Having said that it all sounds lovely and very appetising. I am a mushroom hater though so two mushroom items out of 4 Hors D’Oeuvres seems a lot.
I don’t know your crowd, nor have I ever been to an American wedding, but do you normally have a lot of leftovers after a menu such as that? The most I’ve ever been served at a wedding is a few canapes, entree (appetiser/starter in the US), main course and dessert and a there was a lolly buffet as well.

@irishphoenix: I love it. It sounds very Edwardian — like what one would have expected on the Titanic.

That sounds fantastic. Damn it, now I’m hungry!

@Lollybags: I’m not sure about left overs, I’ve only been to a couple weddings in my life and they were very small subdued events. We have about 150 people coming, and our families and friends are rather big eaters (FI’s family is Italian and Polish)..so I was worried more about having enough food than too much. I’m keeping my fingers crossed everyone goes home finding something they like!
@Bunny_the_Bride: Thank you!

If they are Italian and Polish then that sounds about right then! The more food the merrier!
