Of course!  They’ll want to display that puppy on the fridge and anywhere else they can get away with it.

Send it!

I think my mom saved all our paper products from the wedding (STD, invite, program, etc.)

Most moms probably aren’t as sentimental as she is, but I think both sets of parents would love a save the date!

I did.  I know they’d love to have the keepsake and since they know about them I assumed they’d want one and be expecting it.

I sent them to parents.

My mother put ours on the fridge, his mother threw hers in the trash, and then asked us 9875 times “when is the wedding again?”

I still vote to send them to both sets 🙂

If you have enough, then definitely. In order to stretch our budget a bit, I skipped out on a lot of Mr. SD’s college-aged friends as they’d just throw them away anyway. My mom had to have two of everything so she could scrapbook them 😉

I would want one if I were your parents! It is more for keepsake than for necessity of course.

absolutely.  i plan on doing what sand dollar did–if i’m running a little short some of our friends won’t get them because they’ll just toss them anyway.

I sent them.  I thought they’d want to see the whole package and I also wanted to see how they looked after they went through the mail.
