Guess where i bought my dress? On Craigslist! I rually never look around there but one day I was looking for a dress on internet and ran across Maggie Sottero SaBelle and it was priced for $1,500… I liked it a lot but decided to look on craigslist just to see if they have it.. and this girl just posted it that day for $1,100 it was dryed cleaned and everything. I went to her house and tried it on.. and i loved it.. Can you believe it was even my size! Its was crazy..There was no alteration neeeded..
She didnt want to reduce the price but i got her to reduce it to $850 dollars! I was super happy and from that time on i always look around Craisglist!
What was your best buy on Craigslist? OR Do you even buy anything on Craigslist?

Congrats! That’s awesome.
We’ve bought and sold a few things on Craigslist, but my favorite by far was our KitchenAid Artisan. It was never used, just sat in the box for awhile, and we got it for $150. I love it!

Thank you! I honestly never in my life expected to buy my wedding dress from some one on Craigslist.. It was in the brand new condition. But some time craigslist can offer great things.. We just bought a Kitchen aid mixer at Sears for my FI’s mothers b-day.. that thing was $250 so you got a super deal!

I love craigslist,it’s my go to for everything!
I bought my Nikon D80 on Craiglist for $650, with the lens! There have been many things I’ve got there, but that was the best.
Usually just the D80 bodies go for about $800, add in the lens and you’re looking at well over 1k. So I was super psyched!

I love craigslist!
I haven’t purchased too many items on there. The most recent was a treadmill for only 25 dollars!
I mostly sell items on there have had 100% success so far.
I am always drawn to look at the pets, though I keep telling myself not to!!! It’s so hard to NOT want to adopt their pet after reading a sad sob story.

When we moved into our house we got our kitchen table, a pool table, and a jacuzzi on Craigslist. We probably paid about a third of what the original owner did. They are really nice pieces of furniture. I think the table was like $3,000 originally. It’s also great because you get to go and see the stuff before you buy…score.
Congrats on the great dress deal!

As poor college students, I don’t think we could even furnish our apartment without craigslist.
I’ve also found some great jobs on there to do for a little extra cash, and we got a deal on our apartment through there! I love Craigslist.

No, actually, I find that alot of the stuff is overly priced in my area and soiled (furniture). I have had better success at local thrift stores.

I actually think craiglist can be very helpful..
But i do agree with @beekiss2 some stuff are over prices.. but its still cool because you can still find a lot of nice cheap items or atleast have an ideam what they sell for on craislist.
I happen to get a good buy so im really happy with craigslist right now

I have purchased tons of things from there. My FH laughs at me and says I am redecorating our house $50 at a time. I have also gotten some of our wedding stuff from there, both in our home town and in my mothers town. I wished sometimes I lived in a bigger city as I see a ton of things I would buy in my mothers town. I have gotten a ton of steals on that site, but you have to be patient and wait until what you want comes up for the price you want.
