I’m going to be a flat girl too!  So I’m excited to see what the bees have found….

I would love to wear flats but I would look like a midget next to my Fiance.:)

I am 5′ 10″ and wanted to wear heels but will be wearing flats for 2 reasons. Firstly I would like to look shorter than my Fiance and he’s about 6′ 2″. Second, I didn’t order extra length on my dress so I have no choice!! I am really looking forward to finding some super fun flats!

I’m not really set yet, but am leaning towards flats. Like OttawaBride, I’m not much shorter than my Fiance and want to look a bit shorter in our pictures! And i’m just a flats girl, I rarely wear anything but ballerina flats…

That being said, I kind of love pretty little heels. So we’ll see – nothing over an inch, that’s for sure!

I just ordered these flats in Seafoam and Gray from Urban Outfitters:

http://www.urbanoutfitters.com/urban/catalog/productdetail.jsp?itemdescription=true&itemCount=10&startValue=11&selectedProductColor=&sortby=&id=16426405&parentid=W_SHOES_FLATS&sortProperties=+subCategoryPosition,+product.marketingPriority,-product.startDate&navCount=57&navAction=poppushpush&color=&pushId=W_SHOES_FLATS&popId=WOMENS_SHOES&prepushId’ defer=’defer=

Still waiting for them to come in but I’m keeping my fingers crossed that they work out…then I just have to decide which color!  Urban Outfitters has a few cute pairs of flats that would work for a wedding.

@LT1982 I love those!

I am thinking flat sandals or peep toe ballet flats. I’d love to wear a cute pair of heels, but I just don’t think it would work with our venue.

I’m a flat shoe person too, since Fiance is 2 inches shorter than me.  Though I do love heels, too! πŸ™‚  Mine are red suede and somewhat plain at the moment, but I can dress them up with some pretty shoe clips I think.

I got heels to wear for the ceremony, but I also bought a pair of ballet flats to change into for dancing.  I lucked out and was able to get a pair of flats from the same maker in the same material/color as my heels!  They’re not “bridal” per se, they’re teal thai silk.

Definitely check Endless.com, 6pm.com, piperlime.com for adorable flats.

Flats for me!  I am almost three inches taller than the Fiance plus flats are so much more comfy.  I have yet to find the right flats though.  I am dreaming of something soft pink, girly and completely flat — no heel at all.

Me too! Fiance and I are the same height, and I don’t really like heels anyway. I found the perfect ones but by the time we got around to buying them, my size was sold out πŸ™ Keep sharing the ideas!

But alas our ceremony in on the grass and I could just SEE my heels poking holes in the green. NO THANK YOU!

I’m 5’10” and so is the FH.  i wanted flats, but the dress I got needed an inch and a half heel.  So I could buy the inch and a half heel, or pay to have a lace dress hemmed.  I bought the heel, even though I will be taller.  FH doesn’t care, so I’m ok with it.

I’m totally wearing flats! I’m 5′ 9″ and Mr. KM is about 6′ 1″, but I’ve never worn heels in my life and totally am not going to use the wedding as a learning experience!
