I love lists. It feels rewarding to cross something off when you complete it!

I’m a lister 100%!
While my go to is usually a good ol pen and paper planner, I do organize some things with the “notebook” on my phone. The lists keep me sane during extremely busy semesters.

I love lists. I always have a few lists on my phone: To-do list, shopping list, and a gift list (for me and others. I suck at gift giving so whenever I have an idea pop into my head, I make sure to write it down for later!)

Yes! I always keep a grocery list on the fridge. So as soon as things run out, I add it and then I grab it or snap a picture of it before I go shopping. When I was in grad school, I always had a weekend to-do list with my homework and house work to keep me on track. Now that I don’t have school anymore, it’s easier to keep a mental to-do list. I additionally use multiple calendars (outlook for work, google for personal life, paper planners for both) that help me keep on track. It helps to use pretty note pads and post-its and have fun color pens.

Oh, I’m the list queen. There is no other way, as far as I’m concerned.

YES!!!! I have several running lists in my phone in “Notes”- from food shopping, to packing, to what I make during the holidays each year so I don’t forget, my passwords to various things, baby names I’ve loved, tax write offs, LMAO…….I have 60 running notes! Lists all day.

Obsessed with lists because they organize my thoughts and I get GREAT joy and a sense of accomplishment from checking off completed items. I very much prefer paper and have 2 Louis Vuitton agendas (one large, one small for mobility) to keep my chaotic, overly busy life going. Everyone makes fun of my planners (circa pre-digital world) but I cherish them. I’m a full time working Mom of 3 in corporate America with an incredibly demanding, high stress job. My paper planner lets me color code by category – work, personal, by child, email, phone call, need to do today, can go for a few days, etc. as well as meticulously plan for future events so I can get ahead of things (birthdays, events, the endless chore list, etc). I also love beautifying sections of my planners – bullet journaling, creating winter clothing look books for my winter wardrobe. Ok, I’m a planner nerd and proud of it. I do keep my work meetings electronically through Outlook, my planners are for the rest of the chaos that is my life. Passionate about my paper planners!

Yes. All the time. I use Wunderlist which is a really good app and you can share lists which is helpful. i.e. we have one for food shopping so myself and my SO can both add stuff and cross it off.

No, I hate making lists. I always feel like I spend more time making the damn list than actually doing the tasks, so it feels like a waste of time. The only time I make lists is when shit is truly hitting the fan, like the week before my wedding.

Otherwise I can typically keep things straight in my head. But I don’t have a super demanding job, or kids or a ton of other responsibilities, so that’s probably why!

jewellight :  Yes absolutely!  My to-do lists keep the world going round.

I used to keep paper lists in my planner but got annoyed with managing that.  So now I use the “Remember the Milk” app.  I love it, it keeps track of my high, mid, and low priorities.  I also like that I can share lists with my husband, like groceries.  So whenever something that we need pops into my head, I just add it to the list and if he happens to go shopping first, he sees it (he has the app too) without me having to remember to tell him.

Yes, and my lists have sublists.

If I don’t write it down, I forget it.  I still prefer to use a paper calender and write my lists in there as it helps me to see multiple days at a time.

YES!  Especially for work.  I have a job that requires me to do a lot of odd little things and if I did not write them down or put them on my calendar I would forget all about them.  I have a small notepad that I keep lists on.  Each page is a new list and I go through and complete 75% of the tasks and then start a new list.  I go through a few lists a week.

I also had to do list for my regular life.  If I don’t write it down or put it in my calendar I will forget about the small things.  I definitely am considering looking into some of the apps others have mentioned!
