I don’t mind going out late, etc. But I can’t do anything brain related later in the day. I like to get to work early and do my planning. AFter 3, it’s pointless.

I’m very much an early bird.  I get into the office at 7:30 in the morning and I have about 90 minutes of productivity and no distractions until other coworkers start showing up.  I love it because I have a lot of trouble focusing on work later in the day.

@Sea_Ashley:  i’m useless in the morning, takes me forever to get out of bed and longer to actually be productive.  I do my best work at 2am.

I’m most productive between 6am and 6pm. A 5 page research memo started at 8am will take me maybe 2 hours. Started at 8pm, I’ll be pulling hair out still doing research at midnight, while cranky and bitchy, lol!

I could totally be nocturnal if I didn’t have a 9-5 job.  But as I’m getting older, I’m coming to value daylight more and more, so even when I have a week or more off, I try not to go to bed/wake up too late!

@Sea_Ashley:  I’m like you, I don’t like getting up but once I’m up, I’m raring to go.  Whereas late afternoon I get all zoned out… and once it’s dark outside, forget it, I’m useless for anything besides reading, watching tv, and eating food 🙂

Night owl. Always have been. The mornings are the bane of my existence.

@Sea_Ashley:  a definite early bird! I have a toddler, so sleeping in would be getting up past 6am… I’m usually in bed by 9!

Gosh…can I say neither? I have a REALLY difficult time getting up work work in the morning, 5 am, and  am pretty much useless for a while. Then since I wake up so early I fall asleep by 9 pm!

The nighttime is the right time. I get my 2nd wind at 4PM. I hate the AM.

I don’t understand why the world revolves around morning people (of which I am not). I worked 2nd shift for 5 years and LOVED it. I did my grocery shopping and hit the gym around 1am. It was perfect for me.
