I did have a white bouquet, but I think colored bouquets are lovely as well! Don’t worry about it. It’s all personal preference.

i keep flip flopping between wanting white and wanting purple.  I think I’m going to have to wait and see how my look is coming together before deciding.

Wait, are white bouquets what brides are traditionally supposed to carry? I’ve noticed that a lot of brides carry white bouquets but never knew it was a “thing”. I personally prefer colored bouquets and so that’s what I’ll be carrying on my wedding day.

Nope. Mine has white in it but it’s definitely not the main color! I think it might blend in with my dress and I want it to pop!

@peachbaby4008:  Who are the ones thinking you should have all white? I considered a mixture of plale pinks and whites last winter but as it got closer to the wedding I wanted more and more springy colors in the bouquet. The wedding was two+ weeks ago, but I cant really remember what my bouquet looked like 🙁 Cant wait for pro pics.

I’m going to carry a bouquet of sunflowers and peach and red dahlias.  Maybe one other thing to  add a bit of contrast as well.  Definitely not white!

@peachbaby4008:  I don’t like the way white bouquets look against a white or ivory dress.  Color all the way!!

I’m going for white lily of the valley and white roses possibly with diamanté.

I had a white bouquet. I’m surprised that people are saying that to you though; red bridal bouquets are way more traditional than white.

@peachbaby4008:  I had white gerbera daisies in my bouquet, but I threw in a few pink calla lilies too (I chose to do silk flowers, for more options and the price factor). My bridesmaids’ had pink gerbera daisies.

I helped my cousin to make her bouquets, and she incorporated red, orange, and white gerbera daisies (also silk) in both her bouquet and our bridesmaid ones just look like smaller versions of her’s.

I guess any wedding I’ve ever been to have had strictly white bride’s bouquets, but I have seen beautiful colored ones too. As others have said, it’s a personal preference, but I’m sure whichever way you go will look lovely!
