I have yet to change my name.  As a matter of fact, I’m about 2.5 mo pregnant and still have no desire to do that.

Why’s it gotta be “maiden” name?  It’s just my name.  He has his, I have mine!

I’m changing mine, even though I will have to change it on professional licenses and such too.  Mainly because I like it a lot lol

@sara5ann:  I love my maiden name but it was really important to my husband that I take his and it was honestly the only thing he seemed to be passionate about.  I did keep my maiden name as my middle name though.

I’m still on the fence as to whether or not I will change my name. I think the only thing holding me back is that I’m lazy, and I really don’t feel like going through the entire process of getting it changed on all of my official documents. I have nothing actually against using his name, but I also don’t feel the strong urge that other bees feel to change their last names. I’m just apathetic, I guess!

I moved my maiden name to my middle and took his last name (which is a giant effing pain in New York! just published it in the newspaper today, wtf). But professionally I still go, and will continue to go, by my maiden name.

It really depends. I told my SO it all depend so. My future profession. I’m completing my masters and potenIally going after the phd. If I get the phd then I’m hyphenating in honor of my parents. It really depends

@sara5ann:  Planning to change my middle name to my maiden name, since I’m way more attached to my maiden name.

I’ve decided to change my last name. I’ve had enough bad luck with it for 29 years… I’m ready to be known as someone else now, lol
