Yes! For about 175 guests. I know the candy buffets have been way overdone recently, but I can’t help it. They are too adorable. 🙂 The lady doing my invitations also does candy bars, so she is doing ours (we give her a candy budget & list, and she gets it, sets up, provides jars, and makes labels/bags). I’m way excited. Our lady does the candy by # of guests, if that helps. Another thing I recommend is being careful not to buy candy of all the same flavor. If you are color coordinating your buffet, this can easily happen! For example, if your color is purple, you might have a ton of grape candy. Try to mix it up, get purple m& m’s, pruple foil wrapped chocolates, etc.

Yep, we are!  We will probably have around 100 guests (I’m hoping!  I guess we really won’t know until we start to get RSVPs back), and we’re working on a combination of the weights sites have said will work and what will look good.  We’re not buying an absurb amount of candy, but you should set your buffet up on a table or something beforehand (at home) and make sure it will look good.

We are doing one two for 150 guests.  Ours will be pink and green and have around 50 pounds of candy (our guests love sweets).

We are using this photo as inspiration… only ours will have green included..

We are doing a candy buffet too but we are not color coordinating.  We are doing a vintage, shabby chic theme so we are doing a buffet of penny candies that were popular in the 40’s,  We are also getting married at a baseball stadium so we are incorporating cotton candy and cracker jacks as well 🙂

We so badly wanted to do a Candy Buffet, but the wedding is next week & it’s supposed to be HOT! So thankfully we decided against it. The hot temps paired with dozens of dirty juvenille hands dipping into expensive chocolates wasn’t my dream vision…… Just a couple things to think about if your wedding is outdoors or there will be children in attendance. We have almost as many children coming as adults, so in our case it would just be a mess. I was at a wedding earlier this summer that had a chocolate fountain & it was literally surrounded by children dipping their fingers (& other body parts) into it the entire time. We decided our money would be better spent elsewhere.

Yep, we’re doing one.  It will be based on guest count because the candy is doubling as favors.  I bought small chinese take-out boxes that I’m going to decorate and put at each place setting.
