Sometimes I get distracted by my rings sparkle. The other day I was teaching and writing something on the board for the kids. It was sunset and some light from outside caught my ring making it sparkle. I started staring at it forgeting there was a class behind me for a moment. When I turned around the kids were smiling at me as though they knew why I got distracted.
And not to long ago I was walking across a parking lot. The sun was shining brightly. I could not take my eyes off my ring because it looked so shiney and sparkled like crazy! While staring at it I bumped into a parked car. The construction workers across the parking lot actually started laughing at me.
And of course I’ve woken my fiance up in the middle of the night to look at how much my ring sparkles in the middle of the night.
Do you have any stories about being overcome with your rings sparkle? Please do share.

Oh gosh yes…
I’ve had my ERing over a 18 months, and my WBand almost a year…
And I often catch myself distracted by the sparkle…
Natural Daylight – Potlights – Pinpoint LEDS…
In the Car… Jewellery Stores & Kitchen Lighting is some of the best …
Lots of places you’ll find yourself in mid stare…
I snapped this photo in the Summertime after coming out of the Grocery Store… got into the car, had the sunroof open… and my ring was aglow… had to pull out my camera and take the pic. It is one of my current faves.
Hope this helps,
PS… I should add that when Mr TTR catches me in my “Ring Daydream” he is all smiles… he thinks it silly… but it makes him proud at the same time… he knows I LOVE my Rings very very much.

Oh yes, I have. I have even taken pictures of it at stop lights causing others to blow their horns at me. Oops.

I had the sun visor down yesterday, and my ring was throwing sparkles on the visor! Is distracted me so badly I almost caused a fender bender. (But to be fair, everyone is one second from a fender bender in Boston…)

All of the time. My Fiance proposed to me in my hometown, which is about a 5.5 hour drive from where we currently live. The weather that day was beyond gorgeous and the sun was hitting all of the diamons just right and I kept getting distracted while I was driving.

I had fun making rainbows on an airplane a few weeks ago, much to DH’s embarrassment.

All. The. Time.
Driving, brushing my teeth, laying in bed… I can’t wait for my wedding band so there can be even more sparkle!

@Jabberwocky: YES. This was happening to me on the way home from our destination wedding. I love it!!! Like our own personal disco balls.
@chica95110: SO MUCH. Sometimes I skip wearing mittens just so that I can see it! And I’ve had my e-ring for a year. I can’t help it, I’m like a magpie! I had no idea that I was a diamond girl, but when he gave me a ring I thought, “Well! I really quite like this.”

@BrandNewBride: Haha I too almost caused a fender bender in Boston yesterday! and it was overcast and my ring was still sparkling like crazy!
Granted I have only had my ring for a few weeks but Fiance did an amazing job! Yesterday’s almost fender bender while staring. the worst is at work! the ceiling color is different threw out my office and in different areas my ring takes on a whole new personality! My Fiance also loves to check out the sparkle, I love that he is so entertained by it and has no problem with me staring at it!

The elevator in my condo building has what I called “jewellery store lighting,” and more than once have I been caught staring at my ring and moving it in weird directions as other people get on. Embarrassing.
