@chowderbiscuit:  Mine does the same thing, depending on what kind of light I’m in. You would think I would be used to it, after being engaged for a couple of months, but I still get distracted by it. I like shiny, sparkly things. Laughing

The first day back at work after my engagement, I was driving and the sun was making my ring sparkle and look gorgeous! I *almost* rear-ended the driver in front of me who stopped suddenly because I was so distracted! ๐Ÿ™‚

I get distracted all the time. Fiance thinks it’s hilarious, and my ring is referenced as ‘the sparkly’. Lol. I get super distracted when it’s changing what colors it’s throwing off – today was a super green day, and Fiance was giggling at me most of the day because I kept moving my hand to make it sparkle. ๐Ÿ™‚ My boy did good!

My favorite color is glitter.  I might have drifted out at times looking at my ring going “oh sparkly”.

It’s fantastic at work! Plus since I’m a lefty, I always reach out with that hand and 99 of 100 people mention how sparkly it is.  I was in the elevator at another location, a jeweler got on when I was throwing around rainbows and giggling. She had on her Moissy ring and joined me in making rainbows.  I admit to being a bit obsessed with Moissy now, it sparkles better than my right hand ring.

My big ol mush ball rat, Moriarty, has gotten hypnotized by the flashes.

My guy did awesome!

I’ve only had my ring for about a month now, but oh. my. goodness. I cannot stop staring at it!! I’ve discovered it sparkles like mad under the lights just after I get off the elevator at work…I have to look down and keep turning my hand to see it sparkle so beautifully! It’s just going to get worse once I add my wedding band…I have a few years to go until that happens, but then I bet it’ll be just like it is now after I’m fairly recently engaged! ๐Ÿ˜€

Yes! I have an emerald cut diamond and although it doesn’t have those little sparkles it does reflect big flashes of lights. Love it!

Ahahaha. Almost every single day. I was at a bonfire the other night with FI’s cousin and his Fiance (they recently got engaged and he bought her a very sweet ring) While making smores with the kiddo’s i got distracted by the fire making my ring sparkle and my fiance started smiling and said he was glad it could make me smile, unfortunatly MY ring is 1.58c neil lane, i’m by no means a snob, but her ring can’t compare sparkle wise (its the love behind the rings that matter right?) and she ended up in the house pouting the rest of the night. I felt horrible (but secretly glad i got to pick out my own ring)

Actually it was because she thinks my bigger ring means he loves me more. Long story short she dated my Fiance way back in the day. But i told her how he found my ring at a super discount and thats how i ended up with my dream ring rather than something a little more cost effective lol.

Every. Single. Day. The lighting in my lab is perfect for it, though most of the time I’m wearing gloves so I can’t see it. Our apartment building’s elevator makes it sparkle like crazy, tons of fire. I took a video of it once and sent it to my friend it looked so nice! The day my husband got the ring he spent about half an hour in the bathroom just oggling it.
