I can see how that would be annoying!
I honestly thought I’d have a billion things to tell everyone when they ask about planning and annoy the mess out of them. Thankfully, that phase is passing and I can now succintly say, “Everything is done except for a few remaining details”. I FINALLY have a polite “weather” answer.

I tell them with a deadpan face “I’m excited for it to be over.” That usually stops it at one time and one time only. 🙂
Seriously, though–I’m so grateful for having met the love of my life and for having this opportunity.
But like so many on this thread (and the bee period), I’m burned out. I’m trying to muster all my remaining energy to finish the last details, dynamics, and then get down the aisle. So no…I’m not excited. I’m tired. 🙂

yeah I got this a lot. I had a colleague ask me why I’m not more excited about my wedding since I “never talk about it.” Ummm, I talk about my wedding plenty…just not with you.

Omg someone asked me this at my surprise work shower the morning after we had a big blowout fight with Future Mother-In-Law about guest lists and found out that a tent would be $4000 non refundable deposit just to hold even if we didn’t use it. Well I burst our crying aftwr they asked me! Bet they regretted that question
