Of course I’m excited! besides marrying my wonderful Fiance (duh) I cannot wait to see the guys all dressed up. I helped Fiance chose what the guys will wear (he has no fashion abilities whatsoever lol).

I also can’t wait to see the bouquets!

So excited!! Congrats fellow October bees!

My current obsession: This weekend I FINALLY get to try on MY wedding dress – the sample in the store was not the right color or size – so this will really be IT! And I’m extra excited to play around with belts and veils and stuff ๐Ÿ™‚

Also going to send out invites in the next couple weeks and as lame as it sounds I’m pumped to start getting RSVPs back!

Rugla:  The groom and groomsmen (and one groomslady!) are wearing a medium gray vest and pants with a white shirt. The groom is wearing a gold tie, groomsmen are wearing the stripped tie and my dad is wearing the solid plum. My ring bearer is wearing gray pants and plum suspenders. I can’t wait to see all the guys together! ๐Ÿ™‚

Rugla:  YAY for October Brides! Totally agree, we picked the best month to get married in!

Today is 110 to go till our wedding and *EXCITED* is not even the right word!  I am most excited about seeing everything come together.  We spent a lot of time and budget planning a very special weekend for our guests and especially our Bridal Party.  I am really looking forward to giving them our gifts.  We have been collecting since before we got engaged for them.  This weekend I pick up my dress…..I ordered it February 5th, it wasn’t supposed to be in till July 12th, but I got a call that there was one made in my size in the US and it was already there.  I did not want to have it for all that time, so I just asked them to hang on to it for me and now I am ready to get it.  Our colors are black, fuchsia and gold and our ‘theme’ is Milwaukee/Chicago.  We have everything booked, done and almost all paid for with the exception of the DIY’s which include: menu’s, favor boxes, thank you’s (like the one that says thank you our family and friend…….one per table), table cards (we are not doing #’s, we are doing iconic landmarks in Chicago and Milwaukee), ceremony programs, and the Out of Town bags.  I am going to spend the weekend with my Maid/Matron of Honor so we hope to got menu’s and ceremony cards completed this weekend.  My FH, Maid/Matron of Honor, couple BM’s and I will do the favor boxes and Out of Town bags weekend before the wedding. Adn the rest, well, I have 110 to get that done. My hair and makeup trial is August 5th so looking forward to that too. I already had my shower on June 6th and it was abosultely amazing.

Where do the rest of you stand with your planning?

Rugla:  YAAAS! I’m SO excited! Right now I’m picking out the design for our invitations. We plan to mail the invites out next month, probably mid-late July. This week I’ll also contact a transportation company so that I can get quotes on a shuttle for our guests and our ride after the ceremony (we’re going to rent a vintage 1930s Rolls Royce! *dies*). After that we’ll get bridal party dresses ordered and I believe that is the last “big” task that needs to be done. After that it’ll be a matter of taking care of smaller tasks and paying off the rest of our vendor balances.

Are you DIYing your entire wedding or will you hire some vendors for stuff like catering and music? Are you worried about securing vendors this close to your wedding date? Fiance and I keep getting told by vendors that October is a very popular month for weddings and vendors tend to fill their schedules quickly for fall wedding. I wish you the best of luck and I hope your planning is as stressful as possible ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m so excited here I can hardly stand it.  I got Fiance to download the WedHappy app so i can stop telling him everything.  All the big stuff is done.  Just working on my weight now. My silk flowers are due to arrive in two weeks.  My dress fitting is scheduled for Aug 11th. I need to start laying out the center peices and planning the arrangment for the decorations.

The guys haven’t picked out anything to wear yet.  But Fiance is in charge of that.

I am beyond excited, we just hit 100 days until our wedding date. We are planning on finishing the centerpieces this weekend. My soon-to-be mother-in-law is working on our bouquets. We don’t have much more to purchase, just getting it all put together. Our invites should be ready to send out the end of July. Time sure flies by when you’re having fun

I’m not until October 2017 BUT I’m MOST excited (aside from marrying the man of my dreams) that we chose a Destination Wedding in October.  Just as it’s getting cold in Pittsburgh we will be jetting off to paradise.  I cannot wait to get my toes into that sand!

Here are the dress pics I promised!

^IDK how I look so skinny in that pic, but if my photographer could shoot from that angle, that would be great, lol!

Officially 100 days to go!!

I decided to start a little project today- I just ordered a small journal from Etsy that says “reasons why i love you” on the front. For the next 100 days I’m going to write one reason why I loved Fiance that day in it. Then I’m going to have my Maid/Matron of Honor or photog deliver it to him while he’s getting dressed for the wedding, along with a watch that will have something TBD engraved on the back.  Tomorrow I’m going to order my shoes and buy my wedding ring. Invites went to the post office yesterday and I made my first dress fitting appointment with my tailor…we’re almost there!!
