    I plan on getting him an upgrade to his SLR camera unless the little bugger goes out and buys it himself before the wedding. :p  My back up plan is professional Boudoir Photos and maybe that Fridge!

    I kept a journal from between when he proposed to the night before we got married. My thoughts about him, mementos from nights out, my feelings about getting married, my nerves, etc. I was so disappointed that I forgot it at home when we left for the hotel, but we were only gone for two days so I was able to give it to him as soon as we walked in the door. I fell asleep a little while later and he read the whole thing. When I woke up, he told me that it was amazing, that it made him cry. You know, all the things you look for in a great gift. 😀

    @cupcakebride2013:  It’s a Marshall Fridge and the website is marshallfridge.com I saw it in a magazine and thought it was awesome! It’s $400 and I think they ship to many places and the shipping is included in the price

    We decided not to exchange gifts since we’re spending enough on our honeymoon and contributing to our wedding expenses.  Instead, we plan to write each other a letter, which we will exchange before parting ways the night before our wedding and will open the next morning.  I think it will be a perfect way to begin our wedding day!

    @This Time Round:  Okay, I just ordered them–lovely seller, so we’ll see if they come in the metal box, since I forgot to ask. She was really helpful, though. The address I had for the coordinates didn’t give the exact spot, but she sent me the website she uses and I got the exact coordinates for her. 🙂

    @vorpalette:  Do let me know how this turns out for you, as I currently have no plans to order for awhile (Wedding long gone… this would be some sort of other occasion gift).  And a set of 2 is amazing… we can have one key chain for each of us !!

    Mr TTR and I got married on a beach… so in usual mapping programs you have to give a Street Address to get the Longtitude & Latitude locations, but I discovered that with GOOGLE MAPS, I can actually put the curser anywhere I please (even out in the middle of the ocean if I wished)… and ask for the corresponding ponts by right clicking and hitting WHAT’s HERE)

    You cannot believe how excited I am to be able to pinpoint the exact location on the large expanse of beachfront where we were married !!

    Thanks for all your help,

    Since we are paying for the wedding ourselves, we decided the honeymoon is our gift to each other.

    DH bought me a puppy as a wedding gift (a little yorkie). I did a boudoir photoshoot for him, which came with an album. He LOVED it!

    @vorpalette:  FABULOUS News… thank you.

    I take it they were all you expected then… and more (quality wise).

    @This Time Round:  Definitely! I haven’t gotten a great look at them yet because Fiance was with me when I grabbed the package, but I will scrutinize them later! haha

    I’m not doing the traditional inscribed watch or anything like that since Fiance doesn’t really wear jewellery. We recently moved in together and are now planning a wedding so our finances are really tight. I’ve also just started a new job after just finishing working full time and studying to qualify as a solicitor so we haven’t been able to spend money going out and enjoying ourselves.

    So I’m buying Fiance 12 months of pre-planned pre-paid dates. All details will be in an envelope and he’ll open one each month. It will range from a trip in London (museums, the London Eye, boat across the Thames), to a b & b in Canterbury or a cosy dinner and a movie. I thinks a nice way to start married life- making sure we make time for just ‘us’
