I will be getting FI a simple, white gold wedding band.
It was up to him, but I am in favor also. I really like the idea of him wearing one. In my faith, we do not have double ring ceremonies and most men do not wear wedding bands, but it’s ok if you do. I will be giving FI his ring after the wedding ceremony. I haven’t gotten it yet though :p
Will your husband-to-be wear a wedding band? Have you gotten it yet? What did you choose?

We have FI’s band, it is 18 yellow gold with a platinum inlay (high-shine) and it looks amazing on him!

I bought one for my FI, he chose it etc but I wanted to pay for it. It’s a 6mm titanium matt finish low profile band. Very similar to this:

My fiancé has the Tiffany milgrain wedding band in 18k yellow gold.

cpick: I’m almost positive that that is what my FI wants! Last time we talked about it, he kept specifying that he wants it to be “grey” not “silver” and I couldn’t quite figure out exactly what the diffrence was to him…. I bet what he means is matte finish rather than shiny.
Would you mind sharing about what yours cost?

My FI and I went shopping together for his band. After we got it, he wanted to wear it all the time. I don’t want it to make everything less special when he gets the ring when we are married, so we got him an engagement ring as well. His wedding band is white gold but the ering is stainless.

I’m married already but my husband and I went shopping for wedding bands together and ended up getting them both custom made from the jeweler who made my ering. although his card was physically used, I saw them as part of the cost of the wedding so we essentially paid for them both together.

It was non-negotiable to me that my husband wear a wedding band. His is on the far right of this photo:

What is the “tradition”?
I took my FI “band” shopping at the same place I got her e-ring (our jeweler is a friend and gave me the best deal after visiting three other jewelers).
I found a nice Simon G. band that is $3k but I DO NOT want her to buy it and i told her not to as well. Her band is more affordable coming in at just under $600.
I rather buy both of our bands since i make a little more then she does.

One of these three. We’ve still got to go try them on. He’ll probably get a plain band as well.

DH’s ring is 18K white gold, and has a design on the outside so that it looks like there is two types of material.
We are planning on getting him another band at some point, cos the ring has so many scratches on it – and we’ve only been married a month! We got talked out of tungsten or stainless stell due to the fact that you cannot resize, but may go that route once he knows that the size he has will be it.

Yes! I know my FI wanted a wedding band and I searched like crazy for one. I finally found one on etsy that jumped out at me immediately, it was perfect! I knew he wanted white gold and something a little more ornate than a simple, solid band. The ring has delicate engraving on it, and best of all, really classic Mickey Mouse heads engraved all around it! I wish I wasn’t at work so I could share a photo haha, it’s not nearly as cheeseball as it sounds and I know it’s going to suit him 100%.
Edit: Oops, edit to add that I’m still paying it off. The seller generously gave me a payment plan that I pay monthly, and my goal is to have it paid in full no later than May of next year.

We bought all of our rings together. FI’s ring is zirconium and says “Love Forever” in Ogham.

Wedding bands are traditional for both of us. FI didn’t want a “man-gagement” ring, but he was very excited about his wedding band! We have matching white gold milgrain wedding bands. Neither one of us wanted a blingy band. In the picture below, his is on the right.
