I hadn’t even considered getting my hair done for the rehearsal dinner.

Nope, not for the rehearsal dinner.  If I have time, I might con my one talented Bridesmaid or Best Man into doing my hair… but if we don’t have time, it’s not a big deal to me.  I will definitely do my own makeup though.

Nope! I can’t afford that haha. But even so, I don’t see why it would be necessary. I’ll probably put more effort into it, probably wearing it down instead of a pony tail 🙂

The last time I had my hair professionally done was…oh, wait. Never. Ha. I’m going to take a guess and say that I won’t be going to the pros for the rehearsal dinner. 😛

No, I’m not. I could because my Maid/Matron of Honor is my hairdresser but I never even thought about it. I think it’s just a rehersal dinner and isn’t worth the money or hassle.

I wish I could but I’m not.  Not only are my funds going to be TAPPED.  I literally won’t have the time to get it done that day.

I did! I wanted a chignon which I am terrible at doing. I had it done at a salon next door to our church so I could just run over afterward.

Me either.  I hadn’t even considered it, actually.

I just can’t justify the expense – I’m doing my hair myself for the Rehearsal Dinner. Besides…my wedding is the next day, and I don’t want to go in to get my hair done on my actual wedding day and have a ton of product still in it from the night before. You’re not supposed to go in with clean hair, but I also don’t want to go in with excessive gunk in it!

I’m scheduling my regular hair appointment for the day of the rehearsal dinner.  Here’s my reasoning: (1) I spend money to get my hair done every 6 weeks anyway, (2) I want my hair to look good for the honeymoon.  It won’t be special, but my hair looks way better when my hairdresser blows it out because I have not talent for doing my hair other than putting it in a ponytail.

I would generally say no, but I am lucky enough to have two best friends who do hair and make up.  So for me I wont be going to a salon, but I am sure the girls wont mind coming to my house to make me look awesome!

My advise for other brides who do not want to spend the money on getting your hair done for the rehearsal dinner…play with come curlers and different styles..see what you can come up on your own.  Even if you are not good with doing your hair, I am sure you can do something on your own to make it look good! 🙂

@Girlwitharing – Why don’t you just go and get a “blow out” at the salon? That wouldn’t take much time, would make your hair look nice, and appease your mom!
