I’m not going to.  I want to be able to wear them separately.

I’m not planning to but I guess it depends. I am getting two wedding eternity bands, one for either side of my solitaire.

My e ring has a big diamond and I work at the hospital, so when we get married I was planning on just wearing my band.

I won’t because I am a nurse, and my e-ring is not wearable due to the setting at work (it would be disgustingly full of bacteria in no time due to the halo setting), so I will only be wearing my wedding ring at work, and my e-ring/wedding ring together the rest of the time.

I’m having mine done because of the style of my engagement ring, my wedding band had to be custom made and won’t be a full circle… it is more like a horseshoe shape.  I’m afraid if I don’t attach them, the band could be easily lost!  Otherwise, I wouldn’t find this necessary.

Yes, mine are soldered.  I have a ring set, though, so it kinda doesn’t look right with just two loose rings side by side.

@fiftyfootbride: a lot of people solder the rings together because the e-ring won’t shift or turn, soldering keeps them together a lot easier.

like the other ladies, I want to be able to wear them separately- my job is active and there will be times that I won’t want the bulk of my e-ring.  Also I’m told that it’s easy to scratch your baby when wearing some e-rings.  I want to be able to just wear my band which is lower set so I don’t maim my future child!

I will be even though I don’t want to. The way my ering is made, the metals would rub against each other and wear down my ering. So my ering and wedding band are going to fit together like a puzzle.

Never heard of it. Personally I’d like the option of wearing one or the other or both.

Im not.  I dont plan on wearing them separately other than when I have a baby.  Ill take the e-ring off with the baby so I dont scratch him/her but other than that I plan to always wear them togther, just dont want it permanetly made that way.

I’m not. I’m a huge worry wart..I haven’t even it had it sized because I’m terrified something will go horribly wrong.
