We aren’t getting each other gifts but I did want to get him something small.  His running joke this whole time has been that he wants a dinosaur themed wedding so I bought him a pair of t-rex cufflinks and glow in the dark boxers with t-rexs on them. I spent under $20.

We just discussed this yesterday and decided that we weren’t going to exchange gifts.  Together we are paying for the wedding and don’t really have the money to spare at this time.  We are pretty bad cause if we want something we just go out and get it anyhow.

I’m doing a boudoir session as well, we share a bank account so anything big I get him he’d notice, but this is included in our photographers package (which he doesn’t know, haha) so he won’t get suspicious of my spending =)

Yes. I got him a flask along with the rest of the guys, so he wont feel left out or whatever, but he wont get the rest of what the Groomsmen get. Aside from that we arent getting eachother anything. We are paying for the wedding so that is our gift to eachother. Getting married lol

Nothing.  We decided to put the money toward a new deck instead.

My fella sold off his stuff, among them a library full of books, a lot of poetry, to come move over to live with me. Most of them were dog eared paperbacks, yes, but that’s a lot of stuff to give up. Among them was one of our favorite poets, Spenser, who wrote a Wedding Hymn and love sonnets, the Amoretti.

We met at a poetry reading and poetry will be the theme of the wedding. I am giving all of my bridal party books of poetry suited to each member- to him, and he’s expecting nothing- I’ll give a beautiful hardcover copy of Spenser’s Wedding Hymn and Amoretti, with an inscription in the ink in which we’re handwriting the invites, saying something along the lines of how I promise to give back to him everything he gave up to be with me.

We are poor as church mice, and the book is something like 25 dollars.
