I have always wanted to wear a veil, a cathedral one to be exact. So when i got enagaged i picked a dress a thought was “simple” so i could go all out with the veil ๐Ÿ™‚

No veil for me.  Originally, I was looking at a birdcage and I still think they’re tons of fun, but I found a feathery hair clip that I will be much more comfortable in than a veil.

I’ve been having this debate also! I don’t think I’m going to do a veil. I’ve been exploring pretty headbands and flower clips instead.

No veil for me! I’m hoping I can work in a glittery ribbon or something but, I’m not a veil kind of girl!

YES!! It wasn’t until my consultant put a veil on my head that I felt like a bride! I Bought my dress, veil and tiara all at once ๐Ÿ™‚ I’m going to have my hair done so during the ceremony it will be all behind me then during the reception I will take my veil off and swing my hair over one shoulder!

I was waffling back and forth between veil and no veil, and decided that my dress would determine it.. well, I ended up trying on and loving a sparkly head band type thing with my dress when I bought it that I absolutely loved the way the dress and hair piece went together. It doesn’t go too well with a veil, so no veil it is! I’m not too upset about it though.

I didn’t want to wear a veil but when I mentioned it to my Mom and sisters they almost died!  Looks like I’m wearing one now!

My dress is very detailed so I’m afraid of it getting caught on the beading, too.

@calico61979: I got them off of craigslist..it ended up being so hot that day that they came in handy for shade!!

AND i ordered the veil im wearing off ebay. 25.00 ๐Ÿ™‚ you cant tell in the picture but there are scattered rhinestones on it as well.

I’m wearing one for the ceremony, and then switching to a flower in my hair for the reception!
