I love how veils look.

But…I’m wearing a bolero with a high collar and it probably won’t look right. ALSO, I am not paying more than 30$ for a piece of fricking tulle. No way.

Yes I am 🙂 My dress is a mermaid so I need a substantially long one, also it does not have any embroidering other than on the lace underlay , so I think I am getting something blingy. I cannot afford an elaborate cathedral , my favorite as of right now is this one from etsy :

You wouldn’t think I’d be the veil type if you knew me, but damn I look good! I’m going to wear a cathedral veil (undecided if it will be lace or not) for the ceremony and possibly a birdcage for the reception.

Its the only time I’ll get to do this.

I was also a bride to be who decided to let the dress make the veil decision. I found a veil I loved but I did not like how any of the veils looked with the dress. Instead, we tried a simply jeweled headband and it worked beautifully! So no veil for me.

I’m leaning towards not having a veil, but if I do have one I’d really like a small birdcage veil. I’m considering just getting fancy barretts or clips too. I just don’t like having things on my face much.

Yes! Was always going to wear a veil. Love the mantilla ones but haven’t tried it with my dress yet.
