Depends on the dress I think. I had a corset dress that was heavy with a biggish skirt. I dont think spanx would have done much for me.

I didn’t wear them either. My dress had a bit of an interior corset and it was tight enough that Spanx wouldn’t have done much, probably.

I’ve wond them with a few bias cut dresses where every little bump would be visible, but I am pretty sure I’ll be going very simple with undergarmets on my wedding day.

I wore them and am glad I did.  With my dress, I didn’t need it, but I didn’t like that it was so “airy” under there and it was hot so it made it better on the thight for walking around all night.

Spanx wouldn’t have helped me. My dress was very structured and had tons of boning that held me in. Another layer of fabric just would have made things uncomfortable.

I’d only consider wearing them with a very unforgiving material or dress style.

My dress didn’t need it but I wore some due to the unfortunate chub rub that was only going to get worse under loads of fabric.

I personally love Spanx! I’m in no way “fat” but I do have a few problem areas and Spanx solve it all 🙂

I thought about it, but my dress is mermaid-style but ruched at the same time, so it is pretty forgiving. I’m going to bring them to the hotel & see how I’m feeling that morning…

I did give Spanx a test run yesterday to Thanksgiving.

Oh. My. God.

I was perfectly fine until the drive home. I was so freaking uncomfortable sitting upright, after, ahem, a few glasses of wine, some pumpkin pie, and way too much food….

I wore them because my dress was quite form-fitting and short–it helped smooth things out because the ruching on my dress was awkwardly placed and made me look bulgy in spots where I really wasn’t bulgy.
