I am overall super happy at this point in my life! Aside from having a wonderful relationship and a wedding coming up this year, I have a great job that pays enough for me to do all the things I’d like, wonderful friends, a nice apartment in a city I love with almost no commute, hobbies I enjoy, healthy family, happy pets, no debt, etc. I’ve definitely had some pretty awful times in the past for a variety of reasons, which really makes me appreciate how good things are now.
I feel like this is good as it gets! Owning a home and having kids is definitely something we want in the future, but those events certainly come with some stress as well.

- Wedding: June 2017 - Grandover Resort
I voted for ‘Yes, I Love My Life’. I’ve been with the most gorgeous, respectful, and loving man for 5 years, he asked me to marry him this past January with my dream ring, we’re planning the big wedding we’ve always wanted (thanks to my parents). He’s accomplished his goal of playing basketball for a living going on his 4th year professionally. Traveling the world for free is nothing short of a blessing. I’m SO proud of him. I have to add our parents too, amazing people that have always been by both of our sides with whatever we need.
However, life is not perfect. We’ve dealt with very close family deaths the past few years, his father in 2014, my grandma in 2015. But our faith has helped us celebrate their lives, and we’re so thankful for having them!

Yes and no. My relationship is great, my friendships are great, my job/career path is great on paper and shitty in real life, and wedding planning is really stressing me out. So right now, I’d say 50/50 happy/unhappy. I’ll feel better after the wedding but probably won’t reach peak happiness until I get a new job, hopefully in 12-18 months.

I voted for #1. For me it’s like what Charlotte said in The Sex In The City movie – I’m not happy all day, every day, but everyday at some point I am happy. I have an amazing husband who loves me and shows me every single day, even after almost ten years together. We have sweet little fur babies that we love so very much. I have an amazing family (though not all of them). I love my in laws and they love me just as much.
My husband and I have also made some good health changes as of late. Two years ago we quite smoking. We also recently gave up pop and drink strictly water or tea now. We also gave up “most” of our junk food. My husband is better at this than me. But I am working on it! Either way, I feel super good about all of that and that just boosts my “happiness level”.
I also use to be one of those people who stressed over small things. Even the smallest of things could get me stressed out. Like say for example, split milk all over the table. Where as now I let it roll off my back and clean it up. Stressing out or having a small freak out over something won’t fix it or help. It will only make matters worse. Changing my attitude on these things has made me a much happier person and for those around me, too!

I have a three-week old baby and I am deliriously happy. She is so sweet and perfect and healthy, and my husband has been incredible. It is so magical to see him as a daddy! I have always been a generally happy person, but I never knew I could be this happy!!
