Could you plan something low-key so you can spend some time with all of them? What about a nice dinner the day before your rehearsal if they’ll all be in town? I think with the group you have it would be hard to plan an actual bachelorette party….obviously because one of them is not even 21.

What about other friends? I have lots of friends coming to mine that are not my bridesmaids…could you do a night out with them?

I wont be having one most likely. I have bridesmen and my mom isn’t planning a shower or anything for me so it seems like we are in the same boat. I second the suggestion that you go and just hang out with them doing something low key.

I had mine last weekend.  My Maid/Matron of Honor planned it and we invited just friends of mine who aren’t in the wedding.  Most are the wives of my FI’s guy friends or co-workers.  We went to a casino and had fun and drinks in the room and went to the night club at night.  It was fun and I felt really special that they came out for me even tho we arent close.  Its weird cuz I actually feel closer to them now!

@brideatbeach: I think you may regret not having one. I had mine 5 weeks ago and had the most great time with my friends. There’s that pressure that it’s got to be great and I was very pleased that it was.

I had two actually, because half of my BMs were under 21, so we had one “dinner/drinks/party” bach party, and then we had one at Six Flags!

You definitely don’t have to do the typical “girly” bach party…there are tons of ideas aside from a club night type thing.

If my Maid/Matron of Honor didn’t plan it I would have planned it for myself!  Or just did an inpromtu lets go out tonight and celebrate kinda thing.

If you want to do something low-key, why not just order pizza and watch movies a few nights before the wedding? It doesn’t have to be a big shebang, just a nice get-together.

@brideatbeach: Not weird at all. Can you talk to your Maid/Matron of Honor about this? If you’re not so close with your bridesmaids, it might be good to take some time to get to know them a bit better.
