Mine will be white with lilac color flowers and some picasso lillies (they have a dark purple in the middle) and peonies, ranuncalus, and some lush hyrdangeas.

I’m going the crazy-color-route for my bouquet– peonies, dahlias, poppies, billy buttons, hydrangeas… I still don’t know how I’m going to fit all of those flowers in my hands! :p

I totally wanted my bouquet to POP with color against my wedding gown!  And it did, white bouquets are nice but I never understood them, you can hardly see them.

Dang it! I was set on having a red bouquet and white ribbon, with the opposite for my girls. Now I don’t know if I like the color or the white on white look better! I can see how the bouquet may take away from the dress, but does anyone have any other suggestions on how to maybe incorporate red into the scheme without being overpowering?! Now I am not sure!

I’m using more color with an ivory handle, and the bridesmaids will be carrying cream-colored roses (close to white?). I wanted my flowers to stand out. 😉

MissDW, there is nothing wrong with an all-white bouquet. It is very traditional and “bridal”. My friend carried a very tightly tied bouquet of 40 ivory roses and it was GORGEOUS. Something similiar to this:

I like the idea of having some white in it.  I like bridal bouquets that are mainly white, but have some color, like the one I posted above (with the purple calla lillies and green grass type thing). Also, something with white roses and soft pinks are nice, depending on your colors….like this:

A  good website to look for pictures of bouquets is Project Wedding. They have thousands, and I mean thousands of pictures to sort thru!!

I’m going bright pink. Hopefully something like this but full of just pink gerberas, none of that green stuff. My bouquet will hopefully have a similar coloured ribbon around the handle, and then my BM’s will hopefully have smaller versions but in orange with pink ribon around the handle to match mine. I have no idea where this pic is from, so I apologise if it is yours 😀

I’m most likely doing all white because our colors are royal blue and silver and there’s not much to work with in those colors! I probably will have some silver accents, like dusty miller. Our wedding is also in winter and I think the all white will fit well with that. If we had different wedding colors and were being married another time of year, I’d definitely add in some color.

@luckyyou That picture of those flowers were my wedding inspiration! I am going to have those same colors for my girls flowers..and for my flowers I am going to do more of the deep purple with just a hint of that orange color. Love it!
