We had a friend sing and play the guitar to “my girl.”

My best friend and maid of honor is singing Little House by Amanda Seyfried during the wedding! I am so excited for the personal touch!

It is a beautiful song, but she is going to change a few of the words so that the whole song is positive and uplifting.  But that is sweet to me, she is making it personal for us!

Yes! One of my bridesmaids who has been one of my best friends since we were 5 is going to sing during the lighting of our unity candle! Cant decide which song though… I am leaing towards “I could not ask for more” by sara evans or “when i say i do” by matthew west i have always LOVED “From this moment on” by Shania Twain but am a bit scared some people might think it is too cheesy.

Can I ask, did you guys have background music played (not including those who had the singer sing w/ a guitarist) while the person sang? Thinking of doing this. Thanks!

nishaes:  My 19-year-old niece sang, ” From This Moment On” immediately following our unity sand ceremony. It is one of our favorite moments from the day, and we had several guests and family members say the same! It was perfect for us!

SaraJeanQ:  I’m sorry I just saw this. My niece provided it. I can contact her and see which one it was, there are a ton of them!
