First Wedding was the only time I had a Bridal Party.  The Groom and Best Man arrived at the front… the Ushers finished seating the “the most honoured guests”… MOG & MOB, and then they joined the Groom & Bridesmaid or Best Man at the front.  And the Maid/Matron of Honor & Bridesmaids came down the aisle one by one before me.  When exiting the Bridal Party came out 2 by 2

    Hope this helps,

UK weddings don’t tend to have any groomsmen at all! We will just have a best man who will be standing next to Fiance at the front, and I will walk in first followed by my bridesmaids – that’s the UK tradition. 🙂

I’ve seen so many different ways, pairs for all, pairs for all but Maid/Matron of Honor & Best man, Bridesmaid or Best Man walk part of the way, Grooms men greets and escort to the platform,  I’ve seen them walk down different aisle and meet.  Its up to you!

@astuve812:  We had everyone walk in as pairs and exit as pairs.

    Groom’s Parents

    Bride’s Parents

    MOH/Best Man

    Flower Girl / Ring Bearer

We liked having everything look equal.  I wanted to walk down the aisle with Darling Husband, but I liked having parents involved somehow, so we had them walk in together before everyone.

@astuve812:  This is what we did and it worked out great!  I don’t see any negatives to this approach.

@astuve812:  I like the sound of that. More emphasis on the girls and the bouquets. If they are escorted it takes away from their dresses and bouquets. Then everyone leave together. When you watch weddings on tv the bridesmaids go in alone….
