Yes, we were originally planning on a fall wedding and our colors were to be cranberry, champagne, and chocolate brown..then we switched it to a spring wedding and so we switched the cranberry to coral and kept the other two the same…I am soo happy about that because I LOVE coral but didnt think it suited a fall wedding πŸ™‚

I’m not on purpose.  We’ll be getting married at the end of November and we chose black, white (maybe ivory, we will see) slate blue, and peach.  Not fall colors at all.  Slate blue is his favorite color and the peach gives the antique book style feeling that our wedding will have (we both LOVE books)

We’re doing deep purple, gold and ivory. For me, pastel colors seemed too “spring” and loud, bright colors seemed too “Summer.” I wanted to avoid Fall colors and I think Sept. 8th is still very much the summer….deep purple deemed to fit well in this sort of in-between season.

I’ve seen wedding in all months, all different colors.  Go with whatever colors you want, regardless of the season!! πŸ™‚  It would make you “unique” if anything! We’re doing a Fall wedding and are sticking with some Fall colors, but that’s because we love the colors we chose.  We are actually doing majority of Black, white and sage green, so that could be Spring or Fall.  Do what suits you!! πŸ™‚

@cherryblossomlove:  It sounds gorgeous!  And, to be honest, I’m not sure if I’d notice that your STD had snowflakes, then your actual wedding wasn’t the “wintery/snowflake” feel…  Others can correct me if I’m wrong.  I’d say keep the Save-The-Date Cards you have, and go for the softer feel you’re thinking about.  It’ll be great. πŸ™‚

ETA:  My wedding’s in 2.5 months, and I’m still not sure what my colours are, other than neutrals and “something else” πŸ™‚

I think flowers and a bride’s dress in white with the wedding party in lilac sounds beautiful anytime of year. You could add either silver, champagne, gold, cream, or other colors  (peach, pink, blue, mint, etc) for a wedding — any time of the year!

My wedding season, which is winter, helped to determine my colors.  I’m going for a vintage theme and really wanted to do all light browns and light pinks; however, since those fit better in spring and fall, I decided to go with sangria, chocolate brown, gold, and ivory.  You don’t have to incorporate snowflakes just because it’s a winter wedding, and I don’t think anyone will wonder why your reception isn’t full of them even though they were on your STDs!

@cherryblossomlove:  Just to clarify when I said “Keep the Save-The-Date Cards you have”  I meant, go with them…as in, use them/send them. πŸ™‚  It’ll all work out!
