Yeah, pretty low maintenance as far as appearance here too. I don’t wear makeup unless I have a zit, or it’s a special occasion.  I live in jeans and t-shirts, and either flops or sneakers.  I only wear my wedding rings and maybe a necklace as far as jewelry.  Hair takes awhile to brush (it’s LONG) but styling, forget about it.

Emotionally, I’m kind of a handful.  I cry at EVERYTHING (so much so that DH told me to stop reading certain news stories or posts on here), and I do like a lot of attention from DH.  I also identify with PP about back scratches and small favors.

@rachelmichelle:  Interestingly enough, I figured out how to get back scratches every night.  I used to take off my bra the second I got back in the house for the day.  But now, I leave it on, and when DH hugs me after work, and he feels the bra, he gets irritated at me.  (He says that he doesn’t understand why I insist on being uncomfortable.)  So he spins me around, unhooks it, and always scratches my back to smooth out the lines from my bra.

    Voila.  Instant back scratching.

Haha @ the poll results. Reminds me of this:

Harry: There are two kinds of women – high maintenance and low maintenance.

    Sally: Which one am I?

Harry: You’re the worst kind; you’re high maintenance but you think you’re low maintenance.

    Sally: I don’t see that.

Harry: You don’t see that? Waiter, I’ll begin with a house salad, but I don’t want the regular dressing. I’ll have the balsamic vinegar and oil, but on the side. And then the salmon with the mustard sauce, but I want the mustard sauce on the side. “On the side” is a very big thing for you.

Sally: Well, I just want it the way I want it.

    Harry: I know; high maintenance.

@Quietserenity:  LOL. It’s not that I *can’t* get back scratching. It’s that I sometimes avoid asking for one because every time Fiance starts scratching my back, he can’t seem to leave it at that. He gets all handsy! Haha.

I can be low maintenance just going for groceries and stuff on the weekend, but I like doing my hair and makeup. I take about 45 mins including shower so I don’t think that’s bad, I’m like medium maintenance!

    High maintenence emotionally.

Pretty much low maintanence as far as make up, clothes, hair.

High maintanence as what I expect my husband to do for me, pretty much everything, and he does it.  Like cleaning, or cooking, any little thing I am too lazy to do pretty much.

Low maintenance as far as doing my hair and makeup (usually none) and dress. I don’t go shopping much.

Fiance tells me I’m needy/high maintenance physically/emotionally because I call him over to give me lots of physical affection and attention.  In reality we’re both real needy physically (we both love lots of physical affection!)  and emotionally so we’re both high maintenance on that end, which works out well! Smile  We also are both highly emotional–even though very few people would know that about him.  I cry really easily.  He actually does too!

Low. I take 40 minutes to get ready in the morning, including shower. My hair is either in a pony or natural, and my makeup takes about 3 minutes to put on. I like getting dressed up, but on a regular basis, low maintenance!

Physically I think I’m borderline high and low depending on certain aspects, emotionally I’m high, so I think that averages out to high maintenance!!

Hmm…I feel like I am somewhere in between. I’m not the roll out of bed and leave the house type girl, but I also don’t spend hours dolling myself up every day. I wear basic makeup that takes me less than 5 minutes to apply in the morning, my hair is a complete frizzy mess unless I put in at least some product. I never wear nail polish though, never have been to a spa, getting manis/pedis only like once a year. Syle wise I wear casual, but well fitted and clothes.

When I think of high maintenance, I think of my college roommate who took an hour every morning to put on a FULL face of makeup to go to class. So no, I do not find myself high maintenance in comparison!

I’m definitely high maintenance! I grew up accustomed to a certain life style. While I’m not necessarily high maintenance with makeup/hair/clothes everyday, I’m certainly high maintenance emotionally and in terms of experiences. I like nice restaurants, travel, spas (looove to be pampered). Even though I’m be a food snob who likes nice things, I’m not superfical or mean.

I’d say high maintenance. I wear make up every day, and do my hair every day. I don’t buy expensive clothes, but I try to look cute as often as possible.

Non superficially, I guess I’m kind of in the middle. I DO enjoy a good back scratching as often as I can get one. But I don’t cry a ton, and don’t need a plethora of attention from DH.

But I would never ever call myself low maintenance, if I’m being realistic.
