I went with high but I’m not as bad as I was… I used to have hair extensions, hairdye/hilites, get my nails done, work out, tan, the whole thing. I no longer have extensions and my hair colour is natural and I do my nails myself. I don’t tan either.

It takes me around 45 mins to get ready inc. shower, makeup and hair.

Emotionally- low. DH and I both agree he couldn’t be with an emotionally high maintenance woman.

Physically- I’m pretty high. I do like makeup, hair, clothes, nails and the silly girl stuff. I’m also not afraid to get my nails dirty or mess up my hair- so I’m not annoyingly high maintenance in that regard.

Other- I don’t “need” outings, plays, fancy dinners out, museums and what not. I’m really content to sit by myself or with DH and read, talk or watch a movie. I like dive bars just as much as fancy restaurants and I love Waffle House, so I can’t be too high maintenance haha.

Personal care-wise, I am low-maintenance.  Emotionally, I’m pretty high-maintenance between being a bipolar with ADHD, and abandonment issues. >_>  He loves it, though.

Oops I voted low maintenance, because I assumed it was for how much attention I need from my DH. I am a pretty independent lady and low-maintenance where he is concerned, but I do take a longg time to get ready. Can’t help it. Girl’s gotta look good! Haha j/k

I’m somewhere in the middle, but closer to high maintenance. I have curly messy hair and won’t leave the house without it done. But when it comes to makeup and getting ready other than my hair, I’m very low maintenance. My style is pretty laid back and I like to go with the flow.

Low maintenance.  Although I can style an updo and wear immaculate evening makeup.. I don’t have to be done up 24/7.  If I’m getting ready to see friends, my hair and makeup (if my hair is dry) take a grand total of 5-15 minutes.  I shower every day because I would turn into a giant zit if I didn’t.

Emotionally low maintenance as well.  I love my husband and enjoy spending time with him and having heart-to-hearts with him, but I don’t need a constant stream of validation, attention, etc.  We’re both pretty independent people- it takes a lot to make us crumble emotionally.

I think that on the surface I’d appear to be low maintenance because I spend almost no time on hair/makeup, don’t spend much (or worry much) about clothes, and don’t really have any expensive habits or tastes.

But really, I think that I’m more high maintenance. I have a huuuuge need for free time and get very cranky if we’re too busy on a weekend and I don’t get “chill” time. And I’m not very well adaptable. I like my house, my bed, my linens, etc. I hate when we have to stay anywhere else. I don’t even really like going to hotels much.

So I guess really I’m sort of low maintenance as long as I’m in my own environment following my usual routine. But I get easily bothered by change/being busy and that makes me kind of high maintenance I guess.

I’m medium-to-high maintenance when it comes to appearance – regular manicures, pedicuries and hair color.  I wear make-up to work and when going out, not much on the weekends but it depends on what I’m doing.  I love clothes, jewelry, handbags and shoes, I shop a lot and have a nice wardroble because I enjoy dressing nicely.  Physical appearance is very important to me but I rarely stress or feel insecure about it – all that stuff is fun and enjoyable to me.

However, my inner being is even more important than my outer being and I challenge myself on a regular basis to learn new things, stay creative and spend time in meditation and spiritual pursuits/practices.

I’m easy-going, personality-wise, but love and need lots of attention from DH.  As far as needing attention from other people, I’d say I’m very low maintenance; I’m not needy with my friends and don’t allow them to be overly needy with me (unless it’s an emergency).

I’m never overly demanding about anything because I believe in treating everyone, including myself, with respect.
