@givemecouture:  haha oh i can do you one better. 6 nights at my mother in law’s house. In the living room. On an air mattress. 5 other people in the house (a 2 bedroom), including my sister in law and her boyfriend and her brand new baby.

I am very happy to be seeing them, I am just really dreading the accommodations.

I don’t like the phrase high maintenance.I have always told my DH even when we were just starting out that I am expensive, but not high maintenance. In other words I like nice things and I like to dress up, wear make up, do my hair etc but I don’t HAVE to do that to survive. I have a job that allows me to have those things and so I provide those things for myself. I was also raised with having those nice things as well. If I couldn’t afford it or didn’t have the time so be it. Is it my preference, absolutely. So I guess I’m flexibly high maintenance. However, I feel just as amazing working up a sweat in volleyball or hiking with no make up looking like a mess.

Emotionally-Yes. I am the irrational half of our relationship. I used to be worse, a lot worse, and have worked on myself a lot through health, fitness and just being a better person overall and the changes are pretty obvious. However, I’m sure there are days when my DH thinks I’m crazy. 🙂

i’m definitely low-maintenance. i dress nicely and always do my hair and makeup before i leave the house, but i never get my hair done (i may get it trimmed once a year by my cousin), get my nails done, get waxes, ect. i probably spend a total of $50 a year on “maintenance” products for myself (like makeup and shampoo).

i’m low maintenance emotionally too. i’m a huge neat/clean freak but besides that i’m pretty laid back. i’m a simple girl.
